SOP: How to Give Admin Access to Meta Business Manager and Share Assets
Step 1: Log in to Meta Business Manager
- Go to Meta Business Manager.
 
- Log in using your Facebook credentials (the email and password you use for your personal Facebook account).
 
Step 2: Navigate to Business Settings
- From your Business Manager dashboard, locate the "Business Settings" option in the left-hand sidebar and click on it.
 
Step 3: Add People to Your Business
- In Business Settings, click on "People" under the Users section on the left.
 
- In the top-right corner, click "Add" to add new users.
 
- Enter the email address of the person (media buyer) you want to give access to.
 
- Choose the Admin Access role by toggling the switch to Admin (this gives full control over your Business Manager).
 
- Click "Next".
 
Step 4: Share Your Assets
After adding the person, you need to share the assets (Facebook Page, Ad Account, Pixels, etc.):
4.1 Share Access to Your Facebook Page
- Under Business Settings, go to the Accounts section and click on "Pages".
 
- Select the Facebook Page you want to share.
 
- In the right panel, click on "Assign People" and choose the media buyer you added earlier.
 
- Toggle Admin Access to ensure full permissions.
 
- Click "Save Changes".
 
4.2 Share Access to Your Ad Account
- In Business Settings, go to Accounts and click on "Ad Accounts".
 
- Select the Ad Account you want to share.
 
- Click "Assign People" in the right panel.
 
- Choose the media buyer and give Admin Access.
 
- Click "Save Changes".
 
4.3 Share Access to Pixels
- Go to Data Sources in Business Settings.
 
- Click on "Pixels" and select the Pixel you want to share.
 
- Click "Assign People" and select the media buyer.
 
- Toggle Full Control to ensure admin access.
 
- Click "Save Changes".
 
4.4 Share Access to Catalogs (if applicable)
- Under Business Settings, go to Data Sources and select "Catalogs".
 
- Choose the catalog you want to share.
 
- Click "Assign People", select the media buyer, and give Admin Access.
 
- Click "Save Changes".
 
Step 5: Confirm the Invitation
- The media buyer will receive an email invitation.
 
- They need to accept the invitation via the email or directly in their Meta Business Manager account.
 
Step 6: Add Payment Method (Optional)
If you want the media buyer to handle payments, follow these steps:
- In Business Settings, go to Payments.
 
- Click Add Payment Method, and enter your payment information (credit card or PayPal).
 
- Set this as the default payment method for the ad account.
